Setting Intention w037

Summary

This is an exercise about exploring a thinking tool called “intention.”

Materials Needed

–   timer

–  Lined paper

–  pen or pencil

–  a partner ( this exercise is designed for two or more people,  adjust as necessary)

Instructions

  1.  set a timer for 5 minutes
  2.  brainstorm “what is intention?” (on your own)
  3.  Share to the group (take turns) 2 min.
  4. set a timer for 5 minutes
  5.  set an intention (on your own)

Notes

this exercise is inspired by Brene Brown.  in her work she explores the stories we tell ourselves and how it affects how we relate to each other and affect our own behavior.
