– blank Paper

– pen or a pencil

  1. Prepare your paper
    1.  Fold in half and in half again (quarter)
    2. Cut along the folds
    3.  5 papers * 4 equals 20 pieces
  2. assign a proctor to say the 10 random words to write about and 10 random words to draw about (each word gets 30 seconds) (or use this slide deck
  3. Take a few minutes to pair you’re writing sections with your drawing sections for a submission to the real or imaginary t-shirt design competition

This is an exercise inspired by the jackbox game Tee-KO.  This game uses timed sections to keep the pace fast and loose.

This exercise is also inspired by Demetri Martin. in his work,  he uses simple cartoons to Great comedic effect.
