– Lined paper
– pen or a pencil
– a friend to help
- make sure your friend is ready with 10 random words and give them the instruction to c word every minute
- start your timer
- write whatever comes to mind
- incorporate the words you hear into your writing
This is an exercise inspired by Virginia Woolf. Her writing uses the style of stream of consciousness which gives it a fresh and Meandering feeling often jumping from one topic to another.
